Apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

Join the Sembach team. With 200 colleagues, we ensure that around 400 million components made of technical ceramics are manufactured every year for companies in the automotive, energy technology, machinery and equipment or measurement/control/regulation sectors. In our family-run company based in Lauf a. d. Pegnitz, you can expect flat hierarchies, a pleasant working environment and room for personal development opportunities.

Your tasks include

  • you set up machines and production systems and operate them
  • you control and monitor machine occupancy and optimize the material flow
  • you select suitable test procedures and test equipment, identify malfunctions and correct them
  • depending on your requirements, you decide whether to use manual or mechanical production technology and apply it
  • the maintenance and inspection of machines and systems is also part of your tasks – you correct errors independently
  • you take measures to use energy and materials economically and in an environmentally friendly way
  • you carry out process and performance-related calculations confidently
  • you also document, maintain and secure important production data

  • interest in technology, especially in machines, plant and control systems
  • you should be meticulous and enjoy working in a team
