Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d)

Together with 200 colleagues, you will ensure that around 400 million components made of technical ceramics are manufactured every year for companies in the medical, automotive, energy technology and mechanical and plant engineering sectors. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Your tasks include:

  • Disciplinary and technical personnel responsibility for the quality assurance department and testing equipment monitoring
  • Ensuring the quality required by the customer throughout the entire product development process
  • Contact person for customers regarding quality issues
  • Continuous improvement of existing quality assurance processes
  • Complaint and deviation management
  • Carrying out initial sampling according to VDA and PPAP
  • Coordination of external measurement service providers
  • Participation in the APQP team and other projects

What we want from you

  • Technical training with further training to become a master craftsman or technician
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 (advantage: IATF 16949 or ISO 13485) and common VDA standards
  • In-depth knowledge of modern quality management tools (FMEA, PDCA, 8D methodology, MSA, APQP, validation, etc.)
  • Fluent German skills and very good English skills
  • Well-developed analytical and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as good communication and presentation skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
