Sensor+Test 2011 - high expectations
Even before starting the Measurement fair SENSOR + TEST 2011 in Nuremberg, media coverage outpaced each other in high expectations.
Much has been written about a booming market, the number of exhibitors at the worldwide biggest and most important trade show of the sensor industry, exceeded that of the recent years.
In our increasing technological world sensors win in more and more importance.
Today they are essential in cars and airplanes, industrial robots and machines, or even in the medical technology as patches with sensors which check the renal function of patients, prosthesis or the patient's bedside: sensors measure, analyze, weigh, and optimize tirelessly - all day, every day. Ceramic housings not only protect the sensors, they even permit a more intensive interaction with the environment as a metal housing!
